ENIT, the Italian State Tourist Board, will take part in the 11th edition of IMEX, a serious promotions platform for the international meetings industry. The purpose is to make Italy the protagonist of top destinations for business tourism worldwide, in addition to to support the activity of internationalisation of companies inside the sector. From May 21-23, approximately 9,000 tour operators from around the world, and active within the field of conference, congress, and incentive travel, will meet within the German financial capital to offer the newest news at the sector and conclude business negotiations.
ENIT, as coordinator of the national offer, will organise the participation of Italian tour operators in a single single exhibition space representing the full conference supply chain. On the 3-day event, 58 Italian tour operators will participate, including convention bureaus and product clubs, hotel chains, congress centers, PCOs, and DMCs, all gathered on the ENIT/Italia Stand D400 in Hall 8. Two large corners of the Italy stand, organised and managed by ENIT, are dedicated respectively to Roma Capitale’s offer and Spazio Veneto. The ancient briefing for Italian tour operators would be held on the Frankfurt exhibition on Monday, May 20, within the presence of Andrea Babbi, ENIT’s Director General.
The promotional activities will continue on the ENIT stand with 15 group appointments and presentations reserved to chose groups of international buyers by Italian exhibitors. On May 21, the agency, Toscana Promozione, will showcase the regional MICE offer during a press conference for journalists and operators. A “Happy Hour” to taste the famous Italian cake, panettone, offered by “The Hub Hotel” will happen at 5:00 pm on the ENIT space. The working sessions will end with a promotional event within the evening hosted by the Emilia Romagna region, “Emilia Romagna -Your event our destination,” dedicated exclusively to the trade sector.
