Green Globe Certification promotes ADA Fair Trade Hotel Cosmetics, the newest cosmetic series launched by ADA Cosmetics International. It was a logical step for ADA – because the first German manufacturer – to start producing natural, eco-friendly cosmetics with biodegradable ingredients for the hotel industry. Fair Trade cosmetic products depend on fair trade ingredients and high quality body care.
The Fair Trade line includes shower gel and shampoo that contains raw cane sugar from Mauritius, body lotion and conditioner made with Brazil nut oil from Bolivia, and soap that boasts avocado oil from Kenya. Production of those raw materials is sure to adjust to international standards, and the farmers receives a commission in step with fair trade ethical standards. The added value is then used to enhance the local infrastructure, education, and health. Therefore, the ADA Fair Trade line is a real alternative for hotels making a choice on premium quality while operating with economically and socially sustainable methods.

Fair Trade cosmetics are entirely plant-based and offer fresh and fruity fragrances, energizing the senses. ADA avoided using coloring agents, parabens, silicone oils, and formaldehyde releasers. All Fair Trade cosmetics are pH-friendly and contain no alcohols or potential skin irritants. Shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner are packaged in matt black 30-ml tubes. The convenient screw cap ensures a clean and hygienic use. The 15g soap bars are wrapped in silky black paper. Additionally, the liquid soap and hair and body shampoo are available the elegant “smart-care system” dispensers – in sophisticated black with transparent stripes.
