In celebration of Easter Holy Week, Semana Santa, the Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca, has created some attractive promotions including a Spring Break package starting on Palm Sunday, 24 March and culminating on 1 April 2013.

Easter may be celebrated both on the hotel in addition to within the Soller Valley where many lively attractions and events are organised. At the night of Maundy Thursday locals congregate in Soller, as they do in every local town and village, to watch or take part in solemn processions.

However the ambience changes by Easter Sunday, El Domingo de Resurrección, when church bells again ring out and flowers abound. Families dress up of their finest to celebrate mass in local churches.

At Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel a marvelous celebratory Easter brunch would be offered on both Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April on the special price of 39€ per person (excluding drinks), and 25€ for kids. Each of the hotel’s guests and island residents are warmly welcome and reservations are advisable.

In the hotel, throughout Easter Week, the Barbaroja Kids Club might be adding to its usual programme of fun and games by including quite a number Easter related activities together with Easter Egg decorating, hunting and rolling in addition to the making of traditional Mallorcan sweets, crespells and robiols. Sa Talaia pool could be heated and open to swimmers desirous to take the primary plunge of Spring. Mutually excursions will be arranged for visits to the local Naval Museum and lighthouse and for older children to the Archaeological Museum. Bike rental and other outdoor activities may be arranged by our concierge.

For special treats, guests can benefit from the luxurious facilities of the Talise Spa which includes a state-of-the-art gym along with a spacious and luxurious thermal spa area and al fresco heated hydropool overlooking the Tramuntana mountains. During March a different almond flower promotion should be offered in order to include specially tailored and lavish almond-based spa treatments to mirror the season when these trees are in full bloom around the island.

Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa crowns a cliff overlooking the Port of Soller at the rugged northwest coast of Mallorca. It enjoys extensive uninterrupted sea views on one side and at the other the panorama of the Tramuntana mountains – recently declared a UNESCO Heritage Site.

The hotel has 120 rooms and suites, two restaurants, four bars and two pools. Its Talise Spa is found in its own luxurious complex.
