Hadahaa is honoured to be certainly one of only six resorts within the Maldives to be a part of this esteemed collection. This achievement follows an intensive refurbishment of Hadahaa in 2012, to coincide with the launch of a brand new regional airport inside the south of the Maldives. Maldivian now flies five times daily to Kooddoo Airport within the Gaafu Alifu Atoll, reducing the inner journey time to Hadahaa by nearly half (now 1 hour from Malé). In 2012, Hadahaa also won the coveted Green GOOD DESIGN Award and achieved Silver EarthCheck Certification – becoming one among only three resorts within the Maldives to be certified to this level.
