British visitors lead Brazil tourism boom
The selection of British people travelling to Brazil last year increased by four per cent, with 155,548 making the trip in 2012. The data, released by the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, confirms that a record choice of international tourists visited Brazil in 2012, with a complete of five,433,354 tourists travelling into the rustic, a 4.5 per cent growth on 2011. The news comes as Brazil gears as much as host two sports this year, the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 occurring in June 2013. The matches can be played at six of the 2014 FIFA World Cup host city stadiums, including: Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Brasilia, Recife, Fortaleza and Belo Horizonte.
