News: Lufthansa selects Vayant Travel Technologies for its custom-cache solution
Vayant Travel Technologies, an international leader in B2B airfare search innovation, was selected by Lufthansa to improve the airline’s distribution to tour operators and consolidators in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Here’s one of the most significant client acquisition for Vayant because it started commercial operations in 2012. Vayant has created a custom-made cache for Lufthansa, using its Pricing Cache technique to open up the airline’s fares for dynamic packaging by tour operators. Built to Lufthansa’s specific business requirements, and enabled by Vayant’s fares and-pricing engine, the cache encompasses currently about 30 departure cities inside the German-speaking market and 100 destinations, of which 70 are in Europe.
