News: GTMC welcomes third new member this month

The GTMC has welcomed its second Uniglobe member and the third new member this month – Uniglobe Preferred Travel. Preferred Travel was incorporated in November 1992 and is one among Uniglobe’s largest affiliates sharing global accounts with its network partners across five continents.  The corporate has its headquarters in Brighton, Sussex and in addition has an office in Westminster, London, they employ over 30 members of staff. UK holiday spending higher inside the north than the south

People within the north of britain are spending almost £200 greater than their southern counterparts on their holiday this year – consistent with research* released today by lastminute.com. With house prices inside the south of britain up greater than twice that of the united kingdom as a complete, and typical London house values hitting an all-time high of £318,214, the price of southerners’ homes is perhaps affecting their time away. The research revealed that 2013 holiday spending inside the north of the rustic is up by a standard of £118 per person when compared with 2012, and nearly a 3rd (29%) of northerners who will go on holiday this summer plan to spend over £1,000 per person this summer.
