Starwood hotels to debut in Liverpool with the recent Aloft Liverpool

W Hotels to go into Israel with W Tel Aviv

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc today announced that it’s going to debut the W brand in Israel in 2015 with the outlet of W Tel Aviv – Jaffa and The Residences at W Tel Aviv – Jaffa. Owned by Manhattan-based RFR Holding, the hotel could be set inside a historic 19th century heritage building within the revitalised ancient port neighbourhood of Jaffa. News: Starwood Hotels concludes month-long immersion in Dubai

Marking the belief of Starwood’s month-long relocation to Dubai, Frits van Paasschen, President & CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has shared highlights and insights from the company’s immersion within the Middle East. Throughout the month of March, van Paasschen and members of Starwood’s Senior Leadership Team met with 3,000 associates, conducted nearly 50 owner meetings and visited all 14 Starwood hotels in Dubai, that is the company’s second largest hotel market behind only Ny city. The team also took good thing about Dubai’s strategic location to travel to 19 cities across 12 countries, meeting with government officials and potential development partners in fast-growing markets, including Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and India. News: W New Orleans – French quarter sold for $25.5 million

Chesapeake Lodging Trust announced today that it has purchased the W New Orleans – French Quarter from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc for $25.5 million. The Trust has entered right into a long-term management contract with Starwood to continue to function the Hotel. “We are very excited to expand our Starwood relationship with our third W hotel and fourth Starwood-branded hotel, including the Le Meridien San Francisco,” stated James L.
